Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available to join a trans-disciplinary USDA-NIFA funded project entitled “Site-Specific Climate-Friendly Farming” (SCF) focused on the Palouse region of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho, USA. The successful candidate will work with project scientists to analyze spatio-temporal soil data using remote and proximal sensing, geostatistics, and other statistical methods as appropriate.
Minimum Required Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in soil science, ecology, statistics or related field with substantial training in the application of statistical techniques to terrestrial ecosystems and relevant professional research experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to work in team-based collaborative environment. Demonstrated ability to conduct research in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
