Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy in soil science and land resource assessment

Dear colleagues,
Due to the successful session on “Diffuse reflectance spectroscopy in soil science and land resource assessment” during the last General Assembly of the European Geosciences Union (EGU), held in Vienna, Austria, 2008, It was decided to repeat the same session in EGU-2009 to be held for one day in Vienna, Austria, between 14-19 April 2009.

This session (SSS25) will provide an excellent opportunity to share experiences, establish current knowledge, describe the many applications, present recent advances and discuss future possibilities for research and adoption of the visible, near infrared and mid infrared techniques in soil science and land resources assessment.

Abstract submission is open now and you are invited to submit your abstract. The deadline for the receipt of Abstracts is 13 January, 2009
